Colby has been begging me to go to the park recently. It has been so cold/rainy and just not good weather recently. So yesterday even though it was cloudy it was warm enough for us to go. I packed us a lunch of turkey sandwiches, cottage cheese, rice cakes, and drinks. We ate at the picnic tables and then played for about an hour. Chanley thought she was in heaven and that she could do anything Colby did. If he wanted to swing....she wanted to swing...if he wanted to climb on the slide...she tried that too! I got some good pics on my phone and thought I would share! Enjoy!

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day. Hopefully your day was filled with sweetness and love! I spent most of the day sleeping of course because I had to work again tonight but I stayed up to see Jereomy and the kids open their gifts. Colby some Crayola ColorWonder Paper and markers, a new pair of gym shorts and t-shirt, and a balloon. Chanley got a new swimsuit for Disney, a Dora book, some "Ha-Bows", and a balloon. Daddy got some new Diesel shoes and a basketball goal that he just thought he couldn't live without. As for me?? I got exactly what I asked for....The Multiple Blessings book (Jon and Kate Plus 8) and a new digital scale!! And of course a happy, healthy family whom I adore and grow deeper in love with everyday. Love you all!! MUAH!!
Today Colby, Chanley, and I made Valentine's treats to give to our family and friends. We made a huge mess but had a lot of fun. We dipped pretzel sticks in white chocolate and rolled them in sprinkles and baked heart and X's and O's cookies. We are letting them cool right now and will put icing on them later. Sunday we took the kids to Jump Zone for Peyton's 3rd Birthday Party. They both had a great time and were completely worn out when we left. Peyton got lots of cool gifts. We got him some shark swimming trunks, a Dr. Seus book and Cat in the Hat stuffed animal, and some new Spiderman underwear. Here are some pics:
I could not help sharing with you what Colby said to be today. He is so smart and is constantly amazing me with his comments and "little wisdom". So we were on the way home from Target when he says to me.....
"MaMa?"
"Yes, son?"
"Jeniah (a little girl who stays at his NaNa's house sometimes) had to go to the doctor today because her has been loosing pounds."
"Oh, really? Is she okay"
"Yes, she's okay. She has to eat all her nuggets from now on though. Hey MaMa?"
"Yes, son?"
"Am I loosing pounds?"
"No baby you are DEFINITELY not loosing pounds."
"Oh yeah....I'm WINNING pounds because I eat all my nuggets everytime."
"Yep baby that's it....your WINNING pounds."
