Travs Game

Several weeks ago....(yes I am behind) I took Colby to the Arkansas Travelers baseball game. We went with some of my friends from work and their kids. We all went out to eat before hand and then headed to the game. The kids didn't care too much about baseball that night....all they were interested in was the giant inflatables in the "Kid Zone". Needless to say we didn't watch much of the game but still had a good time. Thanks Brynn for inviting us and for the tickets!!

Slideshow of Birthday Party

Our Baby Girl is 1 !!!

We had Chanley's 1st birthday party on Sunday. Minus a small melt down or two it went great. Most all of our friends and family were able to come and the weather was absolutely beautiful. This was a huge relief since had rained everyday for the last week! We cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and of course had cake. Her cake turned out absolutely amazing. I almost cried when they showed it to me for the first time. It was even more perfect than I could have imagined and tasted AMAZING! Chanley loved seeing everyone but I could tell got a bit overstimulated at times. She really showed her temper when it was time to open gifts. The first thing she opened was a Lily Leapfrog from her Uncle Tank, Aunt Jekie, and cousin Carsen. She wanted to play with it right then and when I sat it down to get another gift she went NUTTS! And to make matters worse she has started this thing where she holds her breath, turns blue, and even sometimes passes out. Well she pulled that there in front of everyone! LOVELY!! Oh well...she soon recovered and had a blast digging into her cake. I ended up opening the rest of the gifts for everyone to see. I can't thank all of you who where there enough for making her 1st birthday party a total hit! Thank you Jeannie for helping me decorate and fight those stubborn table cloths with the wind! We love you all!!

So Proud!

I am proud to post that BOTH of my kids have slept in their own beds since Sunday night!! I was afraid to talk about it too much at first because I was scared they would regress back into our room as they have so many times before. I have to say....I have done very well! Jereomy and I are both off on vacation this week and we have been staying up late watching movies and rearanging the house. We have laughed and giggled like teenagers!! Colby is so proud of himself when he wakes up in the morning and finds that he has slept in his bed throughout the night. Chanley slept until 8am on Tuesday morning which is unheard of for her!! Hopefully this will continue and they will begin to get on a more "normal" routine. I will let you know!!
